At GRACE Community Church, we exist to disciple people through a life changing encounter with the gospel of God’s grace. We do that primarily in three ways: 1) by Presenting Christ to each other, 2) by Providing Community for each other, and 3) byPracticing Charity with each other.
In Providing Community we are following the Second Commandment to “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39). In community, we strive to build, edify and encourage one another. The primary question we ask is not, “What am I getting out of community?”, but rather, “What am I giving to this community?” When we love our neighbor, we rejoice in the greatness of giving, while taking part in the communal ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Though we strive to provide community in all that we do, we primarily fulfill this calling in, what we call, community groups. Community Groups are small groups of about 10-12 individuals, who meet on a regular basis throughout the week, to present Christ to each other from the Scriptures, provide community for each other in our homes, and practice charity with each other in our church, city, and world.
There are other ways to experience community at GRACE. We have other types of groups that meet through out the week. They are:
